The Lie

Is that you have to show up to work, or school, or wherever it is that you spend the majority of your waking hours, and turn your brain off so that you can make it through the day.

“Later on,” we tell ourselves, “I can do what really matters to me.”

I don’t have time for that. Do you?

    So true. I think I get into this routine sometimes and forget to turn my brain back on at all. That was the point of our blog, a way to get the mind going and keep it going even during the grind.

    I agree with threewordsonestory…once you disengage, turning the connection back on can be unbelievably hard.
